We had a good night and were woken at 6h30 for our bush walk. Conrad and Carla stayed behind and Dalton and Luke took good care of them educating them about the bush and the animals and birds in this area.
For the bush walk we left on mokoro to an island from where we started our 2 hour walk. It was already very hot. We came across elephant, buffalo, hyena, zebra, impala, common reed buck, warthog, etc.
For brunch we were back at the lodge. The afternoon we relaxed at the pool and watched the elphant just in front of the lodge. After high tea at 15h30 we enjoyed another mokoro trip and the kids had another boat cruise. While on the boat cruise they got to see a leopard! How lucky! When we returned from the sunset trip the elephant was still in front of the lodge keeping us company. At night he however walked through the camp making quite a lot of noise and causing a sleepless night. Also the hippos came out grassing right in front of the tent....
