Day 18 (22 December 2015) Victoria Falls
Ein sonniger heisser Tag und nach einer Erfrischung im Swimmingpool ging es zum koestlichen Fruehstuecksbuffet.
Danach ging es zu den maechtigen Victoria Faellen! Sehr beeindruckend und dafuer hat sich der Abstecher nach Victoria Falls gelohnt. Den Rest des Tages geniessen wir im Swimming Pool.

Day 17 (21 December 2015) Victoria Falls
Welcome to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
Die Grenzueberquerung verlief reibungslos. Das Visa hat uns USD30 pro Person gekostet und die Gebuehren fuer das Fahrzeug nochmal USD51. Nicht gerade billig fuer 2 Tage wenn man mit suedafrikanischen Rand reist!
Um 11Uhr sind wir in unser Zimmer im Kingdom Hotel eingezogen. Das Hotel ist nur 5Minuten Fussweg von den beruehmten Victoria Faellen.
Der grosse Swimming Pool gefaellt den Kids natuerlich am Besten!
Die Sunset Cruise auf dem Zambezi River war wieder ein Highlight!

Day 16 (20 December 2015) Chobe National Park
Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund. Um 05h00 hiess es aufstehen und mum 05h45 sassen wir auf unserem Game Drive Fahrzeug. 10 Minuten spaeter waren wir im Chobe Nationalpark. 3 Stunden sind wir durch den Park gefahren und haben allerhand gesehen. Von Antilopen, ueber Hippos bis hin zu Giraffen und Bueffeln.
Der Hoehepunkt war eine Gruppe Loewen die einen Bueffel zum Fruehstueck verspeisen wollten. Das war ein interessantes Schauspiel. Der Bueffel ist jedoch letztendlich noch davon gekommen!

Am Nachmittag ging es noch auf eine Bootstour in den Chobe Nationalpark. Hier konnte man die Hippos besonders gut sehen. Elefanten kamen ans Wasser zum Trinken und die Krokodile tummelten sich am Ufer.

Day 15 (19 December 2015) Caprivi Strip
After a breakfast at the river we took a drive to Divundu where our Amarok got a new shoe.
From here our drive took us through the Caprivi Strip. Through Katima Mulilo we went to Ngoma border and crossed back into Botswana in only 30 minutes.
The road took us through the Chobe National Park where we had lots of animals crossing the road such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, warthogs and buffalos.
Our overnight stop is Thebe River Safaris Camp in Kasane. A lovely spot at the river that has a swimming pool, restaurant, rooms with Air-condition etc.
Tomorrow morning we are booked on a game drive departing at 05h45 and then later on a sunset cruise in the Chobe National Park. Another exciting day ahead of us.

Day 14 (18 December 2015)
Today we took the ferry back to Shakawe and crossed into Namibia through Mohembo border. It was quiet and the border crossing took only 30minutes.
Tonight we sleep in Divundu at Rainbow River Lodge and tomorrow we make our drive through the Caprivi Strip back to Botswana again.
At Rainbow Lodge we enjoyed the swimming pool and did the most amazing sunset cruise on the Okavango River. The cruise lasted 2 hours and we passed hippos and crocodiles and watched the life along the river. Fishermen, people having a bath in the river, etc. The sunset over the river was really something special which we will remember for a very long time.
